Oakbank Cluster Basketball Festival

On Wednesday 3^rd March, Oakbank Sports College hosted the annual  3 v 3 Primary Basketball Festival for the Oakbank Cluster of Primary Schools. Over 70 students, boys and girls competed in a very exciting competition. In the boys competition 13 teams competed in 3 pools with the winners of each playing in a 3 way final. A fantastic achievement for Holycroft as they managed to get all 3 of their boys teams into the final round.In the girls competition 8 teams competed in 2 pools with the top 2 teams in each making it through to the semi-finals. In very close and exciting games Oxenhope girls won against Lees and Nessfield were victors over Holycroft. The final Oxenhope v Nessfield. Oxenhope fought really hard to retain the trophy but in the end Nessfield just had the edge beating their opponents by just 1 basket. Well done to Holycroft boys and Nessfield girls who will now go on to represent the Oakbank cluster in the partnership final.
